Jonathan D. Gaby

Jonathan Gaby is an experienced political campaign staffer, campaign consultant, web designer and new media strategist, living and working in the capitol of Kentucky, Frankfort.

Professional
Jonathan is the Chief Strategist for his own web design and new media consultancy, Bluegrass Media Strategies. Since 2010 he has helped political candidates, political organizations get on and use the web to communicate and enhance their message.  He is effective in the creation of a web presence and communicating in real time using E-Mail, blogs, Twitter, and Facebook to win the political war.

In 2012, Jonathan is consulting for two state house races in various parts of Kentucky, and also for a mayoral race in Frankfort.  For the state house races he is working on web design and new media. For the mayoral race he is providing press communication in the form of website writing, press releases, editorials and general campaign strategy.

In 2009, Jonathan was part of a team who out worked and out organized the Democratic party in the heart of Central Kentucky in electing Jimmy Higdon to the State Senate. Electing Jimmy Higdon essentially put a stop to the liberal governor’s dismantling of the conservative Republican senate majority.  We sent a message loud and clear that we wanted to keep conservative values in the State Senate by beating nightly phone goals, launching an impressive door-to-door program, and increasing name identification by attending civic and cultural events.

In 2008, Jonathan answered the call to work for a presidential candidate in New Hampshire.  In the Granite State he effectively kept party officials and campaign staff abreast of all state and regional events that the candidate or surrogate should be in attendance for maximum effectiveness.  Jonathan also kept track of all of the opposition’s events for counter message and tracking.  Among his varied responsibilities he is most proud of working with a team to revamp a campaign office. Our team turned an office around and lead it to be one of the state’s most productive offices by recruiting volunteers and knocking on doors.  Jonathan even developed and  managed the deployed volunteer program.  He wrote a field guide and assembled a deployment package for out of state volunteers and effectively managed deployed volunteers in all six campaign offices across the state.

Political
Jonathan is a conservative and admires Sens. Rand Paul, Jim DeMint, Mike Lee, and Leader Mitch McConnell.  Jonathan is a committed grassroots activist and member of several committees.  He currently serves as the Vice Chairman for the Franklin County Republican Party and is working to develop the party in Kentucky’s Capitol City.  He first got his start as Youth Chair for the Franklin County Republican Committee and got right to work in developing the youth of the area for political means.  He started and founded the Frankfort Young Republicans where he is Chairman.  As YR Chair in Frankfort, he ran and was elected to the National Committeeman slot at the Kentucky Young Republican Federation.

Personal
Jonathan grew up in Campbellsville, Kentucky and currently lives in Frankfort Kentucky.  He has attended Northern Kentucky University and earned his degree at Campbellsville University.  When he’s not fighting the leftist liberals online or in the media, he can be found spending time with close friends, running sound for the worship team of his church.  He’s travelled overseas multiple times to Romania on missions trips, climbed to the top of the South Peak of Seneca Rocks, and has been known to pick a banjo from time to time.
