Business Bootcamp: Social Media for Small Businesses

September 25, 2019 by Jonathan Gaby

One thing I enjoy doing is speaking in front of audiences, delivering a message to help them with some aspect of their business or organization. I love helping people learn, I love sharing my enthusiasm, and seeing people changed for the better.

A couple years ago I was chosen as the first Entrepreviewer in Frankfort, KY. During that program I got the opportunity to speak to other businesses through the chamber of commerce and area organizations. While I can’t share with you the recorded presentation, I want to share with you the Keynote slides from that presentation.

Dear Twenty Year Old Me: What I Would Tell Myself Now

September 20, 2019 by Jonathan Gaby

Today I wanted to write a post that is a little different, okay a lot different than my usual post. I think we’ve all been at a certain point in our lives where we look back and think, “How did life end up this way?” or “How did I get here?”. We seem to channel our inner Mark a la RENT in self reflection and more currently our inner Kate a la If/Then.

We fantasize about the ability to do what Marty McFly did in Back to the Future, to travel back in time and deliver a message to ourselves or someone else to help guid them down a different path. We think that if we can go back to the past we can fix our present, and consequently improve our future.

September 18, 2019 by Jonathan Gaby

Marketing is hard work. Sure, it looks a lot of fun with event marketing, working in cool locations with your ultra hip MacBook, and crushing your goals all while enjoying a cool drink in one hand and snapping selfies with your iPhone in the other.

Five Reasons The Way I Work is Better Than Others

September 17, 2019 by Jonathan Gaby

The marketplace is full of people that do what I do: create marketing plans, execute strategies, write, create, etc. Their work is valuable and necessary for those that they serve. I might even say that their work is better than mine right now.

Jonathan Gaby, principal of JG&Co

I do similar work, in that I create and maintain social media strategy, website content, and a range of other services. I think I’m best at writing, social media, and email marketing. What sets me a part from others?
